Kamakazie!

Today, my little dare devil showed her stuff...We went swimming at my sisters house all day, Emme at first would not dare touch the water or come too close. Soon, she stuck one foot in and then the other, by the end of the day she was jumping off the side to me and then wanted me to spin her in the water on her belly. And to top it all off, she was naked! Gotta love some naked sweet baby bottom!

After our tiring day of swimming she was starving and indulged in a big bowl of cheese ravioli and applesauce and the straight to bed. We can't wait to show Daddy her new swimming!!
Tonight, I put Emme to bed at my sisters house down the street so that I could clean my brothers room (he is living at my sister's house for the summer doing his internship), when I went to leave, I picked her up out of her bed and held her tight and smelled her yummy warm hair. As soon as my sister saw her she snatched her up and did the same thing. She smelled her and begged for Emme to stay and snuggle with Aunt Holly all night. Like I said before, there is just something wonderful about a sleeping baby.

Note to Emme: You are truly the most wonderful gift I have ever received, I love you dearly. You are the reason I get up every morning, so I can see your happy and perfect smile.

My First Day as a Blogger!

Well, this is my first day as a blogger...What exactly are you supposed to write about??? Lets see today I left Emme with her first real babysitter and it did not phase her one bit. She went right to Julie and never thought about me again. The funny thing is, that I am the one who gets so worn out by her business and neediness, I just can't wait for a break, and then I am the one who thinks about her and can't wait to rush home to look at her peaceful little body sleeping so soundly.
I love to watch her sleep or pick her up and snuggle her and smell her. She smells so sweet and warm. Wow, I never thought I could love something so much. What was my life like before I had her?
